I’ve waited for this day forever.

Well, I waited for yesterday forever. It’s happened. I’ve been a proud celeb juice head for three years now. I’ve been addicted to the Hunger Games since I started reading the first one sometime last year.

and it happened. My two favorite things have collided and it made me all giddy inside.

Perez did a post on The Hunger Games! I nearly started clapping my hands and jumped up and down.

They’ve cast  the roles for the boys, just on the heels of casting Katniss.

So exciting. I might just have to get all my obsessed friends together and throw one of these.

Worst november ever.

Since Halloween I have:

-Had a cold, with congestion that felt like my face was cracking in half
-a Headache...for an entire weekend
-The stomach flu
-I went to the emergency room for abdominal pain
-another Cold, with more painful congestion
-and an Earache, which I have right now.

What's the kicker you ask?

I don't have health insurance.

I'm on a vitamin cocktail that would make your gramma's look like mini bag of skittles.

I was sick on Halloween AND Thanksgiving. If I'm sick on Christmas, Santa's getting coal. But I wouldn't be surprised if I am, considering I'm like sticky fly tape for illnesses.

I'll just cry and drink my emergenC.

Either way, what I have learned is that my husband, is my hunky super hero. I love him for going to wal mart right before they close to get me any medicine he thinks will help...(even though he comes home with more fishies) I love him for not laughing at me because I'm afraid to throw up. I love him for making the decision to finally go to the emergency room when I refuse over and over again because I'm a baby. I love him for giving me blessings, praying for my health, and overall being the best lounge all day in pajamas buddy.

oh and watching princess and the frog with me that one time.

and for the fact I probably made two meals last month*

and one of them was waffles.

three days ago. dangit, that was in december.
okay, one meal. It was Novemeber 30th, actually.

I don't know why I am getting sick over and over again, we still don't know. But what I do know is, I am so grateful I have Brad. He's a hunk.

And we come home in 18 days!!!!

*Linda, I promise I have been feeding brad (with the exception of this month) when you see him in 18 days, you'll probably think he's been starving from all the weight he's lost. But I promise it's not all my fault! Sandwiches and cereal don't like to stick to his bones.

-NOT A SPOILER ALERT-
By the way, I finished the Hunger Games trilogy. I nearly cried because it's over! I love the story, the characters and yes, I am the HG equivalent of a twi-hard. They need to come up with a name for those addicted to the series. The catch phrase could be, "Are you hungry?" I don't know, it needs work. haha. Anyway, I don't know what I was expecting. Mockingjay was very bittersweet. It ended the way it should have, and Suzanne Collins did a beautiful job. Buuuut, I'm a very emotional person and I need deets. Details people! I would have loved to have read about gale and katnisses relationship and peeta and katnisses relationship in the epilouge, and how they got to that point (or lack of, without giving anything away.) Any many other things that I rant to Brad about until he gets annoyed. He read them also, and we feel the same way about some things. Regardless, I loved them. Love, love, love. that translates into, obsessed, obsessed, obsessed. Can't WAIT for the movies!

that's not my name :]

My name isn't teacher. The toddlers at the daycare are accustomed to having unfamiliar faces in and out, like subs. I've been their constant teacher for about a month now, and I'm planning on being there a long time. So I figure they should know my name.

Every time I hear, "Teeeacher" I sing "That's not my name" by the ting tings. just kidding. But really I say that and they giggle and get bashful and say "Hay-yee" It gets me every time. As much as I dislike icky diapers and crusty noses, I love going to work.

Today, one of my boys as holding onto my leg and I hear him say to another boy, "MY HEY-YEE!" haha! The other responded the same, I told them to share. They love me :] It's nice having the approval of eight smiling, messy, giggling, sometimes gumpy, faces. That way, we won't have to have our own for awhile haha.

Oh and potty training is hard, props to those parents out there doing it right now.

Anyway, Brad and I are doing good. He's taking tests all the time, I work all the time. We keep busy. Excited to go home for christmas!! ahh!

Hunger games update: I'm almost done reading catching fire for the second time. I am trying to figure out who I side with. Katniss obviously, is my favorite character but when it comes to Gale and Peeta I am not quite sure who I'm rooting for. Reading catching fire the second time I am noticing a lot of things I didn't pick up before, or feelings I didn't imagine from their perspective. It was definitely a good idea, I am just excited this time as I was the first time. But overall, I am leading towards gale :]

OBSESSED [literally]

If you're not reading this book, you're wasting your time. Sorry, but whatever lame book you're reading now does not compare to the brilliant and suspenseful EVERYTHING that is this book.

Now, go return your picture book to the library, march to the nearest barnes & noble and buy the trilogy. Don't bother trying to check it out, it won't be at the library--everyone and their mother beat you to it.

This isn't your baby sisters twilight.

I've been begging brad to read it, I've told him the basic storyline. Maybe he'll take me seriously since he saw my mascara dried to my cheeks this afternoon.

They're already throwing around names for the movies! There are a few contenders, and so far Jodelle Ferland has my vote.

HELLO, Dead ringer! She's Katniss Everdeen in my eyes! I guess she's been in a ton of horror movies as a child, but whatev. My biggest fear is that they will try and give her sex appeal and totally ruin her charector. I hate that about movies.

And PEETA! I wonder, all this is making me so excited!! ahh!

I just had to share, brad thinks I'm over exaggerating and maybe I am a little bit because I haven't been this excited about a book in years! Either way, I love this book and I don't see how anyone else wouldn't feel the same way.
