Home sweet home

Well, I should say rental sweet rental. Brad was gone since Thursday morning! He was in Montana for a preseason trip and I was left all by my lonesome in rexburg for the weekend. It was weird with him gone, I felt like I was either an old maid or a bachelorette. Either way, the house was clean. I kept myself occupied by doing hair and watching glee.

Anyways, Sometimes I get sad. It’s really hard living away from family in a town you can’t stand. Brad is my best friend. We know each other so well and he always knows when I am down and need ice cream. He gives the worlds best pep talks and knows how to make me feel better. Everything right now is temporary. Brad has one year left here in Idaho.is it too early to start counting down the days?

I’m just thankful I have him. Being married is awesome, being away from family on the other hand is not. Especially when my sister just had her baby boy this morning and I am here watching other peoples babies. One of which was using her “abra ca dabra” wand to whisk herself away “to the future” today. I wish it were that easy, girlfriend.

Wanna know what else bums me out? Season  five of Mad Men is not coming out until early 2012. It was a sad, sad day in the Kunz household when we found that out. Sad year, more like it.

The Big Wedding, Honeymoon, and Moving blog post!

It's been three weeks since bradley and I have been married, and it's so much fun! I love him, he's my best friend and now we don't have to drive 45 minutes to see each other! The wedding was July 24th, and it was a beautiful day! I woke up early, drove the the hair salon and walked out with this:

I loved it! I still love it, my stylist did an amazing job! The weather was warm, the sky was perfectly blue and it was a beautiful sealing. The only one I've been to, but I'd have to say it will always be my favorite. My photographer took awesome pictures, so here is the sneak peak she sent me:

We were SUPER hungry after all the pictures so we found the near burrito place, which happened to be Taco Del Mar :] So we had our reception later that night in the Vogels back yard. It was so pretty, everyone who helped did a fantastic job!

Here are some my dad took:

There are still a couple pictures floating around that we need to get from relatives, and we're still waiting by the mail box everyday for the cd from our photographer! So, that night brad and I start driving on our roadtrip! We drove from Olympia to Medford Oregon, which has the most delicious breakfast diner called Elmers. Then to Santa Cruz, where we got to go to the boardwalk, the wharf and got up close to some seals:At a resteraunt in Santa Cruz called Alcapulco, we ate very good fajitas!

This is the view from the wharf looking at the boardwalk!
The Seals were so cool! they were just hanging out, honking at each other basking in the sun all day! Brad and I agreed, it would be nice to be a seal :]And this was one the boardwalk, with the wharf in the background! After this picture we had to go to the meter where we parked our car and we had ten minutes left so we had a picnic in the car :] That night we drove to Sacremento, and had in-n-out for dinner! The next day we drove to Portland to come back home. It was a fun trip, lots of driving but we got to spend the whole time together! So we had one week in between coming home from the honeymoon and moving. That week was a blur, it went by so fast! I remember lots of packing, and lots of jokes of how many boxes I packed. Which was around 12 haha! The moving day was hard, I really didn't want to leave my family, but I knew brad and I were doing the right thing (even though he took me to rexburg.)
The drive sucked. Took FOREVER! But we got here last sunday, unpacking, moving things and brads aunt has been keeping me busy! The other night I made spaghetti and brad nearly cried he was so happy haha. Also this week we made tacos, I wore an apron my friend got me at my bridal shower and brads wearing one his grandma made him!
There are boxes everywhere still, so expect to see another post of our apartment soon :] (it's so cute, fyi!)

One month from today brad and I are going to be married! aaahh, three months passed by so fast! So far everything is pretty much taken care of, except the little things like decorations. And then he'll sweep me of my feet even more and take me to the beautiful, buzzing city of Rexburg, Idaho. Just kidding, but that's really where we are going. Everyone keeps telling me it's not that bad because there are outdoorsy things to do. But I don't think those people know me very well haha. Our apartment is cute, from what I've seen in pictures but we are still looking for a washer and dryer because it doesn't come with one :[ We can paint the walls which makes me happy, plain white is just sad and boring. I'll have one of my bff's from high school who goes to BYU-I there, and that will be a blessing (and she has fabulous hair which I love to do.) I'll have somebody to watch glee with which I'm totally obsessed with. Kurt and Rachel are my favorite. My bridal shower is tomorrow! My sister is putting it on for me and all my good friends from beauty school will be there. I haven't seen them in forever, so it will be a blast! I also get to find out the status of my wedding dress. It's being altered by my favorite grandma, she is the bessst :] I'll put pictures up later :]
